Slow Mo Police?

It's more than 10 days since a man on stage at the TN50 forum went violent in front of the Malaysian PM. He preposterously claimed he did it to protect respect for the PM, and asserted he did not regret slapping someone else.

The police claimed they launched a self report and has been investigating into the act of assault.

What happened to the investigation? 'Twas just a case of slapping, all caught on camera. What further evidence do the police need?

Will the police take until 2019 to give us its findings and recommendations?
