Election reforms pressure group Bersih 2.0 is disappointed that the parliamentary select committee (PSC) on electoral reform has failed to address five key issues.
The five issues, Bersih 2.0 said, are:
- Manipulation of the electoral roll;
- The citizenship-for-votes scam in peninsula Malaysia;
- Enforcement of the Election Offences Act 1954 and enhancing the definition of election offences;
- A plan to stop ‘dirty politics’; and
- Inviting international observers.
The EC represents the last hope, the Noah's Ark for an UMNO about to be swamped by another tsunami.
Tsunami 2.0 is in spite of Anwar Ibrahim's poor example of his undemocratic 916 and shameful frogological expedition to Taiwan and the piss-poor example of his party's questionable polling process.
UMNO has failed miserably to exploit Anwar's cakap ta'serupa bikin by moving on to higher moral grounds, but instead stepped deeper and deeper into its 25-year old cesspool.
Tsunami 2.0 is the people's aggravated grievance against UMNO's unrepentant excesses since March 2008, as witnessed by its selfish, avaricious and nation-damaging exploitation of race, religion and sheer Goebbels-ish lies to divide the rakyat.
UMNO's Ketuanan Melayu is not, never was, about protecting ordinary Melayu but the UMNO elite and their cronies (including non-Melayu cronies), to ensure and enable their continuing binge in the public coffers.
UMNO knows Tsunami 2.0, the great flood, is coming. Their last hope is the EC, their Noah's Ark.

The opposition did not want to debate it though the Dewan Rakyat speaker invited them to do it.
Same as Lynas issue. Invited to talk about it, but rebuffed it.
Pakatan prefers to make a din outside to provoke their supporters.
Najib is right in saying opposition likes prolonging of issues for capital gains. Never provide a solution!
And yes KT, there will be tsunami that will drown Anwar and his cohorts.

The post was about UMNO, not about Najis Razak, as far as I am aware, i have never read anything personal about Najis Razak whereas DSAI's name crops up everywhere in every single topic at every single opportunity. Let me debate you know on your very frequent DSAI incident on 916 and your frequent putdowns of Hannah Yeoh.
To me the 2 incidents are NOT similar. Ie the Perak illegal takeover and the 916.
Only you in your absolute hatred of DSAI can label it the same.
Point 1 - What is wrong with DSAI as a parlimentarian asking for a vote of no confidence in Parliament ? Is there anything wrong ?
Point 2 - If there was no issue with such a vote and Badawi and Barisan Najis was secure, why even sweep up MPs and take them to Taiwan on a holiday at our expense ? Precisely because Badawi was unsure , precisely because he knew he was going to get a dagger into his back if he agreed to a no confidence vote. But likewise these Barisan Najis MPs wouldnt reveal their daggers unless they have 100% certainty they could kill Badawi.
Point 3 - by doing the above, DSAI wasnt doing anything illegal, was the august House illegally distrubed, was the Speaker forcibly removed and replaced ? Was the Agong fait accompli in an illgeal act?
Point 4 - Contrast that with Perak, do u know the number of illegal precedents set by UMNO in this illegal takeover?
Point 5 - That UMNO bastard yeah i dont dispute he had the right to jump ship twice, go ahead, my issue is with all the subsequent illegal acts and ursurping of the Speakers powers in the Perak state assembly!
Therein lies the big difference !

In case you dont understand the difference, what Barisan Najis and Najis Razak should have done in the Perak incident was to call a no confidence vote in the Assembly and thereafter vote in a new MB.
