Mahathir's away, pussy starts to play!

His Royal Loose Cannon embarrassed AAB, who was at the former’s side in a ceremony to launch government plans to turn Johor into a thriving economic hub, by calling for the removal of the JB-Singapore causeway.

His Royal Lighted Fuse criticised the transport-water supply link as undermining Johor's economy and representing a vestige of colonialism. Then His Royal Time Bomb also decided to attack foreigners as ‘dirty', whatever that slur means.

I am not sure why His Royal Powder Keg uttered such unacceptable and unpredictable words in public and on such a formal occasion, in fact confronting AAB with his questionable and undiplomatic pronouncements.

Did His Royal Uncontrollable think he would emulate the Sultan of Selangor, who recently gained some popularity when he summoned Zakaria Deros for a tongue lashing and a royal advice for him (Zakaria) not to take up the position of the Port Klang town councillor?

Did His Royal Uncontainable imagine he too could seize the same golden opportunity to restore some measure of authority, if not popularity, to his diminished self?

I wonder how AAB must have cringed in embarrassment, especially when the principal target audience for investing in his grand scheme was our southern neighbour.

This is what Wikipedia has to say about His Royal Unacceptable:

And how the hell did AAB allow him to get away with unfettered absurb statements which haven't been of any value to Malaysia's good diplomacy or constitutional democracy? AAB should nip such flexing of absolute monarchist tendencies right immediately in the bud. It took AAB one whole day before he stated to querying reporters today, that the causeway will remain.

Dr Mahathir as PM had tamed His Royal Misfit into a domestic pussy, but the moment the Grand Ole Man is no longer in charge, the pussy cat appears to be reverting into an uncontrollable headstrong tiger he once was.

Nay indeed, tis not a good time to be a hockey coach (or anyone) in Johor.
