London under Attack - 52 Killed? 20 perished from Bus Explosion?

The Sydney Morning Herald carries a revised death toll of 52 for the attacks on London’s subway trains and a double decker bus. The SBS TV news presenter stated that PM John Howard mentioned the same figure.

This increase comes along with the report that about 20, not 2, had been killed by the bus explosion. A lucky passenger who got off from a bus just before the explosion claimed he saw a very agitated man with a swarthy complexion fiddling around nervously with his bag. Was he the suicide-bomber or just another unfortunate passenger?

OTOH, the train explosions seem to be triggered by a timing device discovered by Police.

More later ..........
