British Police has conducted another controlled explosion at Leeds as part of the search for those responsible for the London bombings. It would probably have been a precautionary step to minimise any possible booby trap in the house. Armed officers are on readiness behind parked police cars.
Police have raided 6 houses, and though no one has still been arrested one of the houses in the district of Burley is surrounded by the authorities.
Another evacuation, this time of 500 people, had been ordered from the surrounding buildings. Part of the Beeston and Holbeck surburbs are sealed off.
