Unofficial: BN set to win in Kinabatangan, Lamag

BN is set to win both the Kinabatangan and Lamag by-elections, according to unofficial results.
Based on unofficial results at 7.45pm, with 97 out of 119 polling streams in Kinabatangan accounted for, BN had bagged almost 14,500 votes, compared to almost 4,800 for Warisan. The independent candidate has just 838 votes so far.
Warisan is not expected to close the gap in the race for the Parliament seat.
Umno secretary-general Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki posted at 8pm that in Kinabatangan, with just eight polling streams unaccounted for, BN had won Kinabatangan with a 12,426 vote majority.
In Lamag, with nine polling streams left, Asyraf said BN had a 3,689 vote majority.
