Malays starting to believe threat to Islam, Malay race is the doing of Malays, Muslims themselves

Focus Malaysia:

Malays starting to believe threat to Islam, Malay race is the doing of Malays, Muslims themselves

MANY Malays who are pro-Madani government have seemingly no qualms to admit that the biggest enemy to both the Malay race and Islam is not DAP or the often-labelled kafir (infidel) non-Muslims but the Malay Muslims themselves.

That the threat “comes from within” has been further amplified by the recent discovery of widespread wrongdoings – including abuse and torture of Malay Muslim children – by elements linked to Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings Sdn Bhd’s (GISBH) which is a remnant of the banned deviant cultish Islamic sect, the Al-Arqam Group.

Reacting to a public gathering themed “Threat to Islam & the Malays” organised by Malay Muslim NGOs in Kluang, Johor on Saturday (Sept 21), Pakatan Harapan (PH) backer Injang (@Injang_Nation) said “as a Malay, I don’t need them to defend my fate”.

“The biggest threat to Malays and Muslims in this country is not from other elements but from their own stupidity if they are still willing to listen to these so-called religion and race riders,” he lambasted on the X platform.

Aku melayu, tapi aku tak perlu depa ni bela nasib aku. Ancaman terbesar untuk melayu dan penganut Islam kat negara ni bukan dari unsur lain, tapi dari kebodohan diri sendiri kalau masih rela ditunggang bangsat-bangsat acah pembela mcm depa ni. Penunggang agama dan bangsa.

Incredibly, the sentiment expressed by Injang was echoed by many like-minded Malays with one commenter felt that she more threatened by “PAS which embraces deviant Islamic teaching” while another agreed “indeed such threat comes from within, especially from those hiding behind the veil of religion but are attracted to children’s private parts”.

Another commenter pointed to the need to “create imaginary threat to foster unity but the excessive use of this strategy will make everyone an enemy and a threat” while another demanded “one specific example of how Islam and the Malays are under threat”.

Likewise, one commenter recalled twice former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad having pointed fingers at parties which lost the 14th General Election (GE14) in 2019 for having stirred up issues pertaining to the Malay race and Islam were under threat but he now sings a different tune by pinning the blame on the Madani government.

In fact, a commenter reckoned that it is “Dr Mahathir, Daim (former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin) and their gang members who feel threatened the most at this juncture”.

Another drew a comparison of the “Threat to Islam & the Malays” event to the Himpunan Keadilan: Suara Rakyat Suara Keramat gathering by the Madani government at Axiata Arena on Friday (Sept 20) night by concluding that the latter “is more worthwhile to attend” given it could pull a bigger crowd.

To cut a long story short, the very sight of Muslim convert preacher Mohd Ridhuan Tee Abdullah who is touted to be “behaving more Malay than the Malays themselves” as one of the panelists in the “Threat to Islam & the Malays” event was enough to piss off many potential attendees.

Recall that human rights activist and lawyer Siti Kasim has recently slammed Richaun and the Malaysian Muslim Consumers Association (PPIM) chief activist Datuk Nadzim Johan a.k.a. Toqqi for belittling efforts by the Malaysian authorities to clamp down on the wrongdoings by business subsidiaries linked to the Global Ikhwan Group.

Ridhuan has among others ticked off mainstream media for “amplifying one or two sodomy cases” which Global Ikhwan Group executive chairman/CEO Datuk Nasiruddin Mohd Ali admitted to having occurred at welfare homes linked to its subsidiary, Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings (GISBH).

The Muafakat Nasional deputy president further expressed concern over the impact of such adverse publicity to the image of Islam, alluding to the fact that sodomy incidences have also occurred in churches where the perpetrators are priests. – Sept 23, 2024
