Umno orders ceasefire with PAS after Zahid-Hadi meeting

Umno has ordered its “cyber troopers” to observe a ceasefire with PAS for the time being.

This following a meeting between Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and his PAS counterpart Abdul Hadi Awang, said a party source.

"No final decision was made during the meeting, but after it took place, Umno ordered attacks toward PAS to be stopped for the time being.

"This is believed to be the outcome of the meeting, where PAS wants to mend its relationship with Umno again," the source told Malaysiakini today.

Yesterday, Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin claimed that Hadi had told him that no decision was reached at the latter's meeting with Zahid.

Muhyiddin also said that PAS will decide on who the party wants to work with, in the 15th general election, soon.

Seat clash talks

Meanwhile, another source told Malaysiakini that the meeting between Hadi and Zahid touched on the cooperation between the parties, and how to avoid seat clashes in the election.

However, no conclusion was arrived at during the meeting, which was held at a restaurant in the city, said the source.

"During the meeting, Zahid also voiced his feelings about PAS' act of 'two-timing' Umno with Bersatu.

"Also discussed were ways to strengthen Umno-PAS ties, and ways to avoid seat clashes with Bersatu, but no conclusions were made," added the source.

The source, who is a senior Umno leader, said the positive outcome of the meeting was the decision to stop attacking each other, for now.

  1. Ultimately, PAS being the whore it is, will likely go with UMNO because of the greater opportunities working with UMNO will engender.

Mahiaddin will be left with his p***k hanging out.

At the end of the day, it is all about malay power and control no matter who jumps whose bed.

Where is keluarga Malaysia? Rubbish, isn't it?
