Mahathir could be PM at 95, but Boi-Boi Mukhriz said Anwar at 75 is far too old - What a vicious hateful Kerbau!

“Your daddy’s time has passed!”: Mukhriz panned for calling Anwar a “has been”

PARTI Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir courted brickbats on social media after saying that it was time for Pakatan Harapan to change its prime ministerial candidate.

“Has DSAI (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) said anything about your time or your father’s time? No, he has not. Just leave DSAI and PKR alone. Just go your own way,” said user Sharan Pretam Singh.

Echoing Sharan’s sentiments, user Formosan added:

(Mukhriz, many politicians have said the same thing about your father for years now but he never bothered. The same applies to Anwar, he need not entertain your babbling)

Netizen MH retorted:

Yesterday, Mukhriz was reported as saying that he has not ruled out possibility working with Pakatan for the next general election.

However, the former Kedah Menteri besar urged the Opposition coalition to relook into its prime minister candidate, claiming Anwar’s time has passed.

“I think his time has passed. That’s my feeling and a lot of people have been saying that, in fact within Pakatan itself.

“It’s time for a new group of people to take over (the coalition’s leadership),” Mukhriz said, in an interview with business station BFM.

Dr M’s betrayal cuts deep, Mukhriz!

On that note, user KyWee criticised former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and said that the people would never forget the latter’s betrayal.

Netizen Ema gave a cheeky reply saying:

(It doesn’t matter if the people die due to floods and money is lost under the 5G project or other programmes. So what if preachers continue to poison Muslim minds or even if former premier Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak comes back to power…as long as Anwar does not become prime minister). – Jan 4, 2022.
