FMT:

Agong to meet Malay rulers over PM’s proposals

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah met Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin yesterday

PETALING JAYA: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah will meet Malay rulers on proposals mooted by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

In a statement, Comptroller of the Royal Household Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said the royal meeting will take place at Istana Negara soon.

“(The rulers) will discuss and refine the proposals presented by Tan Sri Muhyiddin.”

The statement did not touch on the details of these proposals.

Fadil said Muhyiddin presented his proposals to the King during an audience at Istana Abdul Aziz in Kuantan, Pahang, yesterday following a special Cabinet meeting.

The audience lasted around one and a half hours.

Ahmad said Sultan Abdullah understood the need for continuity in the administration of the country in the fight against Covid-19.

“In fact, he is very concerned about the restlessness and anger of the people following the latest developments.”

Ahmad said Sultan Abdullah has advised the people to remain calm while waiting for his decision on the proposals.

“All citizens are advised against speculating as this could cause confusion and unrest and threaten the peace of our beloved country.”

  2. Solution very simple. Conference of Rulers, "invite" Muhyiddin to step down as PM for making such a ridiculous suggestion and his entire cabinet for supporting it; then go back to results of rakyat's mandate of GE14, give number of ministers position according to number of seats won. Starting with PKR with 48 (dapat PM), DAP with 42 (dapat DPM ha ha ha) and so on.....apa susah susah pening kelapa.....this way we kill many burung with one batu....eg

Kill Toonsie's comeback as he is no longer in Bersatu
    Kill illegitimate back door gomen
Kill PKR traitors as they are no longer in PKR
    Anwar can be PM
DAP no need to beg for DPM, Agong bagi, nah ambik ha ha ha...
To pacify UMNO, Kuli (HY, the Tengku not the laborer) boleh jadi liaison between new cabinet and the Conference of Rulers
    ha ha ha....

    This tweet serious, not joke...mostly....

  3. One more burung; the Agong can correct the "mistake" He made when Muhyiddin tricked him in February that he had the support of the majority of MPs.
