Justice for Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim

The totally unacceptable and exceedingly cruel assault on a responding fireman, the late Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim, terrifies me even up to today.

While one can understand (though not condone nor tolerate) people rebelling against armed soldiers or policemen, what idiocy and barbarism were nauseatingly exhibited in the bizarre attack on a fireman, or for that matter, an ambulance attendant/driver, a doctor, a nurse, and even a hoily man in his uniform (eg. Catholic priest, Buddhist monk).

There was/is a limit, drawn by ethics, civility, courtesy, values, etc of which the converse is barbarism or evil. It's inexplicable for anyone to hurt an emergency-responder like a fireman, let alone that the man was dragged out of his vehicle and beaten to unthinkable severity, in fact to his eventual death.

The injuries were so horrendous he perished after 3 weeks in ICU where the best possible medical care was accorded.

Why was there so much hatred that the attackers couldn't or didn't want to differentiate between perceived 'foes' and a neutral, nay, compassionate dutiful first-responder in his service uniform?

HATRED, EVIL, MINDLESSNESS - whoever did that evil unforgiveable deed must be severely punished after due police investigation and successful court charges.

However, I disagree with some that the death penalty be invoked. No matter how horrendous the proven crime has been, we Malaysians must demonstrate our civilised ethics to avoid capital punishment for the guilty but to jail that person or persons, if necessary, for the "rest of his/their natural life/lives".

I have never believed in the proposed "30 years" substitution for capital puinishment because murder is never standard nor should its punishment be so.

Lastly, so-called religious men should NOT instigate their messages of evil, that there should be an eye for an eye.

  1. First, that ustaz is trained under the doctrines of an eye for an eye lah!

So well trained that he is highly regarded. Hence what do u expect him to say vis-a-vis his 'training'?

    Wakakakaka…

Yes, nobody SHOULD attack ANY respondents coming to the aids of an emergency.

Thus the death of this fireman MUST be transparently & openly investigated.

Why was he been singled out for attack by the raging mobs.

Yet he was rescued by the members of the same mob & sent to hospital!

What were the police personnel doing when the scene turned violence?

Why the emergency docs couldn't 'identify' his injuries (sudden traumatic impact/multiple weighted punches)?

Adib's facial appearance indicated his injury could be sudden as raging punches wouldn't spare his face. No doc's comments/indication s about his other bodily bruises. Judging from his cause of death, lung failure, an internal injury that had to be sudden & traumatic! (Wakakakaka… I no doc, but the Colombian military doc I conversed with pointed me to this fact).

As usual, many of these blur-sotongs r stirred to amokish frenzy purely through racial/religious mongerings.

A common expression of their maturity standing level in the greater scheme of PD!

  2. “An Eye For An Eye” makes us all blind.

FREE FOOD & LODGING FOR LIFE makes us look like idiots.

Life sentence could mean more than 70 years of free food and lodging, what if medical care etc is needed.

Guilty convicts must pay a fine too, and perform economic work to pay for their lifetime incarceration.

If innocent people must work to pay their way why not murderers.

  4. 'Armenians in Turkey; they did not deliberately starve millions of Ukrainians; they did not create a system of death camps to kill Jews, gypsies, and Slavs in Europe; they did not fire-bomb scores of large German and Japanese cities and drop nuclear bombs on two of them; they did not carry out a ‘Great Leap Forward’ that killed scores of millions of Chinese; they did not attempt to kill everybody with any appreciable education in Cambodia; they did not launch one aggressive war after another; they did not implement trade sanctions that killed perhaps 500,000 Iraqi children.

In debates between anarchists and statists, the burden of proof clearly should rest on those who place their trust in the state. Anarchy’s mayhem is wholly conjectural; the state’s mayhem is undeniably, factually horrendous'. ~ Robert Higgs

How true. There's no death sentence for state's mayhem. There should be no death sentence for anarchy's mayhem too? Yes?

  5. It's a matter of time before calls for justice mutate into demands for retribution.

As well as Race and Religion-based incitement for Revenge.

I believe it has already begun.

Let the fires and lynchings start.

"KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 19 ― The post-mortem examination of slain rescue worker Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim unearthed fractures to his ribcage in addition to the severe internal injuries that ultimately led to his death.

According to the New Straits Times, forensic medical examiners at Hospital Kuala Lumpur made the discovery during their three-hour long examination of his body yesterday following his sudden death on Monday night."

    Also

"Of course, we have preliminary information that he was thrusted. Wait for the final decision,” Deputy Health Minister Dr Lee Boon Chye said.

    Wakakakakak……

UNEARTHED fractures to his ribcage in addition to the severe internal injuries during post-mortem examination!!

    Adib was THRUSTED!!!

My Colombian military doc tells me that when a patient shows sign of severe chest injury, broken ribcage must be a FIRST sign of suspect, especially when broken bone can thrust the lung.

Normally a broken ribcage is usually cause by severe frontal chest impact.

Any experienced doc would have taken the necessary medical procedure to deal with the broken ribcase.

Apparently it WASN'T the case in adib's!

Hence the transfer to ijn for artificial lung support breadthing. The surprise WAS the specialists DIDN'T discover the raptured ribcage too!

My doc friend says there is a highly suspected negligence of medical DUTY on the part of the emergency medical personnel!

Adib could be saved if the right proper medical treatment was given in the first instant!

NOW, finger pointing everywhere JUST to cover their incompetent asses!
