Pussies

MM Online - Russia to win first World Cup match, says clairvoyant cat (extracts):

Achilles

ST PETERSBURG, June 14 — Russia's football team has failed to chalk up a single victory in eight months but things could be about to improve — according to a supposedly clairvoyant cat who predicted a win for the side in the first World Cup match.

Achilles, a deaf white cat who is the official animal soothsayer for the tournament, yesterday chose a bowl of food bearing the host's flag rather than that of Saudi Arabia, who Russia will face this evening.

The cat follows in the tentacle-prints of Paul the Octopus who became a star in 2010 after predicting winners for that year's World Cup by choosing one out of two boxes containing food.

Paul

A colloquial description of an octopus is octo-pussy.

A colloquial description of a cat is (feline-) pussy.

But the above was/is NOT the only psychic animals for prediction of sporting outcomes.

In Malaysia we have a Tun-a-pussy. It or he knows EVERYTHING lah.

Japs love tuna, and Tun-a loves Japs

Star Online (06 Jan 2018) - Tuna sold for RM1.2 million in Japan:

TOKYO: In the final New Year’s auction at Tokyo’s famed Tsukiji fish market, the owner of an international sushi restaurant shelled out more than US$300,000 (RM1.2mil) for a prime bluefin tuna and said he was “very happy” with the result.

The world’s largest fish market, one of Tokyo’s most popular tourist sites, is set to relocate later this year to clear the way for a road needed for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Hiroshi Onodera, the president of LEOC Co. Ltd which owns the “Ginza Onodera” restaurant chain, paid 36.45 million yen (RM1.2mil) for a 405kg premium Pacific bluefin tuna – around 90,000 yen per kg (RM3,201). The price was just over half that of last year’s winning bid of 72 million yen (RM2.5mil) and well below the record 155 million yen (RM5.5mil) paid in 2013.

Love the way Japs think BIG. I wonder whether all that wealth came from Malaysia where our nation had to pay off ballooning debts from the borrowing done previously by "a leader" in his profligate years?

  1. Malaysia's debt level up to 2004 was small change compared to now.
Go look up World Bank data.

    1. Malaysia's debt levels were hovering between 70% and >100% up til 2004. So what are you trying to say here?

  2. Japan holds the world record for the most expensive tuna. OK we give them that since they like fish so much, but Malaysians, we go for even BIGGER fish.....well, actually crocodiles.

Malaysians wait patiently while KiNNg Amar Singh and his team diligently work through the Raya holidays to value hundreds of Hermes bags. We wait with bated breath to know if a Malaysian owns the world's most expensive Birkin. LGE is excited, he wants to sell it and bank the proceeds into the Tabung Harapan. TDM is also excited, he can declare a public holiday. UMNO might be brave enough to step forward to claim that the bag is theirs.

A rare 2008 Himalaya Birkin set the European record for the most expensive handbag ever sold at auction, when it went for £162,500 at Christie's on Tuesday. The exclusive bag, which – at 30cm wide – is slightly smaller than the traditional Birkin, is made from nilo crocodile hide and decorated with diamonds.

Incredibly, the sum is only the second-highest to have been paid for a handbag at auction: another Birkin, a 2014 Himalaya Birkin, was bought for £253,700 in Hong Kong in 2017.

  3. To pay off our ballooning hutang LGE devised (upon popular request from the concerned public) an improved version of the infamous "Milo Tin" collection, aka Tabung Harapan.

Ardent GST-supporters must also do their part, diligently setting aside their 6%, and under the auspicious leadership of somebody from BN, (who is the leader?) since they voted for GST, and deposit into a Tabung IM4U Enam Peratus Hebat Negaraku 1M. Use CIMB also can, Nazir will be happy, so compete with Maybank.

In the spirit of the World Cup and white (but why oh why deaf) pussies let's have a friendly competition and see who loves Malaysia more and which Milo Tin can collect more. Tabung Harapan give 2-goal (I mean months) handicap.

    1. I pay GST to support the initiatives to the poor, not to help someone upgrade his lodgings from a swimming pool-less banglo to one that has a pool.
