Good olde days are back

MM Online - T7 Global: ECRL price renegotiation a welcome move (extracts):

KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 — T7 Global Bhd has welcomed the price renegotiation in the East Coast Rail Line (ECRL) project mooted by the new government. [...]

Yesterday, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the government would proceed with the ECRL if it can obtain more favourable terms through renegotiation and if the project’s cost is reduced.

Asked if the company would collaborate with tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan’s Berjaya Group’s construction projects given that the latter is one of the substantial shareholders of T7 Global, he said: “We are not closed to collaborating with anybody, but Vincent Tan is our shareholder now, we will take whatever opportunities we have to collaborate in sync with him.”

  1. Vincent Tan is a pretty mercenary Chinaman.

He contributed a lot of political money to Najib in the past, and he is cozying up to Mahathir now.

    1. The Securities Commission should be investigating into the possibility of insider trading.

The law must be followed by everyone...now which party said that recently?

  2. Rewinding the same old story. Playing on the cinemas like some nostalgic picture but the rakyat is forced to pay for it and force it watch it whether they like it or not, repeatedly again and again. Seeing the horrors with eyes wide open, zombies somehow derive a twisted sense of satisfaction, while sensible folks recoil in terror but none can do anything about it. As time goes by, their brains rots and they too, turn to zombies and enjoys the show.

Ilsa: Play it once, Sam. For old times' sake.....Play it, Sam. Play "As Time Goes By."

  3. We all have a soft spot for the Oldies but Goodies. Bring them back I say.

Even Jibby sang along to Cliff Richard's "The Young Ones" at the Raya party yesterday. And "The Jibelievers" choir sang the chorus with gusto.

BTW, some question if holding a Hari Raya party at a Theme Park is insulting to Islam, is it ok to have a karaoke session and sing western heathen songs?

    The young ones
    Darling, we're the young ones
    And young ones
    Shouldn't be afraid

    To live, love
    While the flame is strong
'Cause we may not be the young ones
    Very long

    Tomorrow
    Why wait until tomorrow?
    'Cause tomorrow
    Sometimes never comes

    So love me
There's a song to be sung
And the best time is to sing
    While we're young

    Once in every lifetime
    Comes a love like this
Oh, I need you and you need me
Oh, my darling, can't you see?

    Young dreams
    Should be dreamed together
    And young hearts
    Shouldn't be afraid

    And some day
    When the years have flown
Darling, then we'll teach the young ones
    Of our own

    Once in every lifetime
    Comes a love like this
Oh, I need you and you need me
Oh, my darling, can't you see?

    Young dreams
    Should be dreamed together
