Peninsula - A history of Malaysia

I have just heard Rehman Rashid has suffered a heart attack in Rawang. Coincidentally this afternoon I brought his latest book 'Peninsula - a history of Malaysia' in which I learnt this prominent Journalist was sacked in 2003 by you know who because Rashid refused to continue writing speeches for you know who.

I look forward to reading his story.

  1. A lonely man and perhaps who don't care much about his religion. Sincerely, I don't find his writes interesting. Not like "The Kite Runner" - about the beautiful heavenly Afghanistan, the constitutional monarchy, the republic, the Russians, the Talibans, the Americans, and the regrets, the pains, and the loneliness... and you wanting for a sequel.

  4. The later day Rehman is not the same one who wrote A Malaysian Journey.

Wakakakaka...One of the reason why he didn't continue writing speeches for that mamak was mamak didn't agree to give his blessings for him to wed his favourite daughter.

In fact sodomy IS/was fave activity of the ummat, not just Afghans! There were/r tons of literature, facts & or fiction, about this activity - try Leon Uris' The Haj.

Oooop KT doesn't like Jews, especially Zion writer!
