Mahathir fears-hates Chinese

MM Online on Mahathir's worry of Chinese living in Johor and becoming voting citizens:

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 8 — Chinese investment in Johor was part of a global trend, Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin said today in further rebuttal to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s claim that an influx of Chinese nationals in the state was imminent.

The Johor mentri besar said the former prime minister should understand the importance of foreign investment given that the latter had flown the world over during his time in power to persuade countries and nations to pump funds into Malaysia.

Khaled added that China has become an economic powerhouse with a large middle class that has a strong appetite for property all over the globe.

“This is a global phenomenon and it behoves all parties, particularly the private sector, to attract investment from China, and specifically to Johor. More so when Johor is just next to Singapore,” he said in a statement.

“But it is wildly inaccurate to state that property in China is only for the Chinese. What more when developers in Johor do not only target Chinese as their prospects.”

This was the second time Khaled has addressed Dr Mahathir’s claim that between 700,000 and 1.5 million Chinese nationals will enter Johor and allegedly be made citizens.

We must thank Mahathir for his concerns about foreign Chinese having voting rights here.

Maybe he can also explain the alleged Project IC in Sabah where nearly a million Filipinos were "imported" into Sabah.

Wikipedia states: Project IC is the ..... allegation of systematic granting of citizenship to immigrants (whether illegal or legal immigrants) by giving them IC (identity card), and subsequently, MyKad, the current iteration of the national identity card.

The alleged practice is centred in the state of Sabah in East Malaysia. The term is used mainly by the media as well as other political commentators and the general public. Another term used is Project M,where "M" stood for Mahathir Mohamad, the former prime minister of Malaysia due to his being allegedly involved in the spearheading of this project.

The alleged object of Project IC is to alter the demographic pattern of Sabah to make it more favourable to the ruling government and certain political parties, especially with regards to changing the electoral voting patterns.

Former Dewan Rakyat senator and state assemblyman Chong Eng Leong alleged in 2012 that there are 700,000 "Project IC citizens" and that 200,000 of them are on the state electoral roll.

The project, in its widespread and intensive form, is suspected to have begun in the early 1990s after the entry of ... UMNO into Sabah politics.

Now you know what Ah Jib Gor meant by Sabah being a "fixed deposit" for BN, all thanks to Mahathir's "investments".

In April last year the Star Online reported (extracts only):

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad justified the stand to give foreigners in Sabah identity cards if they had lived in Malaysia for many years and as a local.

The former prime minister said on Saturday that it was the Government’s policy to recognise people who are loyal to the country, adding it was not fair to disallow their children from attending Malaysian schools.

At the same time maybe Mahathir can tell us more about what blogger Steadyaku47 alleges in the following extracts from his blog:

In the 1960’s Indonesian migration into Malaya was encouraged by UMNO to maintain a numerical advantage over the Chinese and the Indians. The May 13th riots provided the stimulus for the NEP which not only provided employment and economic opportunities for the Malays but also demanded an increase in Indonesian workers in order to meet labour shortage due to the rapid modernization of the Malaysian economy. [...]

... the authorities inability to monitor the situation when these Indonesian workers started to present a host of social problems that begun to plague Malaysia. At the same time Malaysia lacked the political will to enforce existing laws diligently. Why is this so?

The paradox of BN cronies being able to make more money out of these illegal immigrants even as more measures against these illegals are being enforced is testimony to the fact that where there is a Ringgit to be made, BN with its cronies, it’s rank and file and its attendant government officials will be there to partake in the spoils. What they did with their abuse of the Ketuanan Melayu they then did with this illegal Indonesian workers situation.

These opportunists facilitated the transportation of illegal Indonesian workers into Malaysia, provided them with accommodation and jobs, took part in the manufacturing and distribution of fake passports, identity cards and work permits without worry of persecution : all under the paternal gaze of its own BN government – complicit at the highest level, in its silence and lack of political will to do anything to police the worsening situation - all for financial gain!

Illegal immigration is big business – big enough to warrant the existence of an all consuming human trafficking syndicates with connections to politicians and government at the highest levels that “protect” them from any undue interference from the authority – who themselves would have a financial stake in the successful conclusion of these “business” undertakings.

Corruption and the manner in which bureaucracy works within the government does not in anyway assist the implementation and enforcement of any legislation already in place to manage the situation.

And so the stage was set for what we have today.

What has been a problem area for the government since Merdeka days has now become an opportunity to:

· Secure a massive voting bank for UMNO.

· Has become an ongoing source of income for
politicians and government authorities involved in
this illicit business.

What was once a source of worry for the Islamic traditions of Malaysia because most of the Indonesian here are Christians and are at time s engaged in the spreading of deviant Islamic teachings - these Indonesians are now “Bumiputras” for the purpose of political expedience.

What was once the cause of mob violence and riots inside and outside detention centres:

· The 17th January 2002 Nilai industrial estate riot involving over 400 Indonesian workers who torched buildings after police tried to detain 16 of their co workers for alleged drug abuse.

· The riot involving 70 Indonesian workers and stall owners in Cyberjaya on January 20th 2002.

· Other acts of social aggression, rape, robberies and murder

Thanks Maddy.

It would seem from Mahathir's disparate treatment of foreigners coming into Malaysia, illegally by allegedly his Filipinos and Indonesians, and legally by orang Tiong Hua under the Mahathir government’s introduced 'Malaysia My Second Home' (MM2H) programme to encourage foreigners to relocate here, he has reverted to his anti Chinese hatred.

And this man could somehow and shamelessly worm his sinister way into a Pakatan which has Chinese and Indians.

Oh Lim Kit Siang, how blind can you be?

  2. When it comes down to beautiful women, there is no fear or hate.Because beautiful women made men look like pet puppies. When their mistresses snap their fingers, powerful men will succumb like lambs being led to the slaughter house.
