Health and Safety standards are high , and farmers have to submit self-certification as well as on-site government and 3rd party audits of their farms. If they fail to correct deficiencies, they risk being closed down.

That is because governments and society in those countries well understand that pigs are inherently unhygienic creatures, and sub-standard health and safety facilities and practices can be a menace to society.
And these are countries where pork is widely eaten, and most of their people have no religious hangups about pigs.

China this year has culled over 1.1 million pigs in an unsuccessful effort to stop the spread of African swine fever.

Some self-honesty is necessary here for the Malaysian Chinese pig-farming community. The former Bukit Pelanduk pig farms were ultra-high density and a concentration of filth. You could smell the stench long before you arrived at the location.

The DAP-dominated Federal government may well bulldoze through a resumption of industrial-scale pig farming, but I would advice the government to think long and hard on how it can manage a safe and hygienic industry, which it certainly wasn't the case back in 1999.
Monsterballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05482725674818312298noreply@blogger.com
