Government accounting is on a cash basis. If Kerajaan Malaysia purchased the plance outright, they would have to show the RM 175 Million cost outright - and they probably couldn't bury that in the Budget.
Sleepy Guy was probably trying to sneak it pass us while the rest of us were asleep. They annual leasing cost on the plane my guess is RM 25 - 30 Million. That they can bury in the Budget, especially with all the other waste occuring in this Incompetent administration.
Companies make Buy or Lease decisions all the time. But in this case it is leased from a Wholly Malaysian Government-owned entity, so it makes absolutely no sense. Just moving money from Left Pocket to Righ Pocket. Financial equivalent of a magic Show.
Bravo to "Dollah Copperfield"Monsterballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05482725674818312298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11109306.post-1170232918030746412007-01-31T16:41:00.000+08:002007-01-31T16:41:00.000+08:00Spot on dude.Spot on dude.frosteehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14072542782278640172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11109306.post-1170209360435746042007-01-31T10:09:00.000+08:002007-01-31T10:09:00.000+08:00Elegant silence has been replaced by elegant denia...Elegant silence has been replaced by elegant denials it seems...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
