Why should anyone be surprised?
US war crimes have spanned a period ranging from Vietnam (eg. My Lai, etc) to Iraq (eg. Abu Graib, etc) to Afghanistan (eg. Bagram torture cells, etc) to Guantanamo Bay to 'Extraordinary Renditions', etc etc etc, and now in Iran.

DeleteOther sections of the same UN report, widely filtered out for political bias reasons, also stated that Iranian Government had committed crimes against humanity with it massive brutal suppression of 2025 protests.
