JERUSALEM, Nov 30 — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, facing long-running corruption cases, has submitted a formal pardon request to President Isaac Herzog, the head of state’s office said today.
“The Office of the President is aware that this is an extraordinary request which carries with it significant implications. After receiving all of the relevant opinions, the president will responsibly and sincerely consider the request,” Herzog’s office said in a statement.

Once pardoned, it's most likely he'll stop the war, which is immensely unpopular with Israelis. He has been keeping the genocide going in order to remain at war and thus stay out of jail.
“Pardons” for mistakes or misjudgments are pretty normal for people in power. Netanyahu’s alleged corruption is pretty minor compared to say 1MDB (trial still ongoing) or the deaths of tens of millions blamed on “famine” where the leader is still today honored by having his picture hanging in Tiananmen and on every renminbi note. See, the people forgive, forget and honour the man and the country can move forward.
ReplyDeleteThe REAL Nakba.
ReplyDeleteBut the world is Only talking about Palastin, Palastin, Palastin, the most PRIVILEDGED people in the world, deserving their bespoked UN agency to pamper them, UNRWA.
Today is Jewish Refugees Day. We remember 850,000 Jews forced out of Arab states and Iran in the 20th century. Communities 2,500 years old were destroyed.
At the United Nations, I asked Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, and the others: “Where are your Jews?”
Still waiting for an answer.

What are the corruption charges against Netanyahu? So minor, one example:
ReplyDeleteAccepting cigars and champagne from businesspeople.
Ridiculous.
What did Jibby and Rosmah receive? The trials are still ongoing, and many demanding pardon.
But he should still go. Not because of the court cases but because he failed to prevent Oct 7 Nakba.
ReplyDeleteSATANYAHU DIDN'T WANT TO PREVENT IT, WANTING TO USE THE EVENT AS A CAUSE FOR HIS GENOCIDAL WAR. He is so evil he's quite happy to see Israelis killed for the fulfilment of his agenda
DeleteHopefully good Irish sense will prevail.
ReplyDeleteLovely people, WE DID IT!
The motion to rename Herzog Park has been withdrawn. This is such a huge win and one that has only come about due to public pressure.
Thank you so very much for all of your help! 🥹🎉

Before the 1960s the Isaac’s were the Palestinians. But the term was hijacked in the 1960s by the Arabs.

The REAL Nakba….and none of them seek Right of Return. They have MOVED ON.
ReplyDeleteToday, November 30th, is the Day of Commemoration for the Jewish refugees who were expelled and ethnically cleansed from Arab countries (more than 850,000) and Iran (100,000). We must never forget this historical tragedy.

Another rat eliminated.
ReplyDeletePalestinian reports say the son of Hamas figure Razi Hamed was eliminated in Rafah this morning after attempting to flee a tunnel and abandoning the other militants inside.

As proof that Jews were the original Palestinians:
ReplyDelete1. The original name of the newspaper now known as The Jerusalem Post was The Palestine Post.
The newspaper was founded by Gershon Agron during the British Mandate of Palestine and first published under the name The Palestine Post Incorporating The Palestine Bulletin on December 1, 1932. The masthead was quickly shortened to just The Palestine Post in April 1933.
In 1950, two years after the establishment of the State of Israel, the newspaper officially changed its name to The Jerusalem Post.
2. The orchestra known today as the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra was originally founded in 1936 under the name the Palestine Symphony Orchestra (or simply the Palestine Orchestra).
The orchestra was established by the Polish-Jewish violinist Bronisław Huberman, who recruited Jewish musicians dismissed from orchestras across Europe due to Nazi policies, effectively saving nearly 1,000 people (musicians and their families) from the Holocaust. Its inaugural concert in Tel Aviv in December 1936 was conducted by Arturo Toscanini.
In 1948, following the establishment of the State of Israel, the organization was officially renamed the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
"Palestine" was a British colonial name, inherited from the Biblical era Romans (Philistine). When Israel became independent in 1948 they did not need this name anymore so they abandoned it. They had their own identity....Jewish.
ReplyDeleteThe Arabs were left with no national identity, so they took over the British colonial name...Palestinian.
