NURUL Izzah Anwar, Deputy President of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), has departed for the Holy Land with her husband, Yin Shao Loong, to fulfil the fifth pillar of Islam by performing the Hajj.
The journey was confirmed in a short video posted early this morning on the TikTok account ‘Nurul Izzah’s Fans’, which showed the couple en route to Makkah.
Nurul Izzah had earlier expressed her intention to undertake the pilgrimage during her speech at the PKR National Congress last month.
Her departure comes shortly after a significant political achievement—securing victory in the party’s internal election on 23 May, where she unseated incumbent Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli to become PKR’s new Deputy President.

But for Isaacs, even though they have to perform their pilgrimage three times a year, this has been impossible for 2,000 years, because their Holy of Holy Kuils kena roboh and somebody built a Golden Dome on top. They have to Bawl and Wail Outside along the Western Wall. Kesian.
