Tronoh rep told to enter defence on rape charge
Tronoh assemblyman Paul Yong is accused of raping his Indonesian maid in July 2019.
IPOH: The High Court here today ordered Tronoh assemblyman Paul Yong to enter his defence on a charge of raping his Indonesian maid in July 2019.
Judge Abdul Wahab Mohamed made the decision after finding that the prosecution had established a prima facie case against Yong, who is a former state executive councillor.
The trial will continue on Feb 15 and 16.
