Bersih still bersih?

Sarawak Report's claim of a charge sheet, spurious or otherwise, by the former AG against Najib should be considered as part of the continuing war of attrition, retribution and infuriation against PM Najib. Whether there's any truth in the SR claim is yet to be proven though various agencies of the authorities have already pooh-pooh-ed it.

While UMNO goes into covert as well as overt internecine war between the M and N factions, as had happened to many political parties even those abroad like the Australian Labor Party (eg. Bob Hawke vs Paul Keating, Kevin Rudd vs Julia Gillard), the Malaysian Federal Opposition is in a sad state of disarray.

On this basis, if UMNO is not having its current civil war, it would not be illogical to believe UMNO will lead BN to a strong victory in the next general election, which may even provide it with that unnecessary 2/3 majority.

So why is the M faction so against Najib, in now plunging UMNO into grave potential for political disintegration, when it could (if without internal party discord) virtually walk over a disunited Federal Opposition in the next GE? Hasn't that been Dr Mahathir's oft-voiced desire for UMNO?

Indeed, why is the M faction aggravating the situation for UMNO so much so that the M faction's spokesman would say that if UMNO goes to the general election today the party will lose kau kau?

Has it been about 1MDB and the alleged missing RM42 billion? Is that sum missing? I agree 42 billion ain't no chicken feed and we most certainly want it to be fully accounted for. But aren't there an ongoing audit and several investigations including one by PAC?

But 'ere the audit and investigation findings have been completed, many of us (and I'm talking to non-UMNO people) have already taken sides with, ironically, the M faction, led by a man who has been considered as the ultimate uber draconian ruler, and who himself had a few items on the list of less than admirable spending such as Maminco, Forex, Perwaja, Proton, etc.

Why, even the so-called neutral non-politically aligned Bersih is threatening a 4.0 rally to depose the PM.

Yes, to depose of the current PM. Yes, Bersih!

Now, does anyone believe for one second that the M faction has been worried about such a relatively sap-sap-suoi sum (chicken feed)? The adjective 'relatively' means far more billions had gone astray one way or another by a combination of sheer utter waste, mismanagement and even gambling.

And we Malaysians who have witnessed a 22-year period of gross profligacy, want to believe the fox wants to protect our chooks? And relatively chicken-feed lil' chooks at that too. Alamak, get real lah.

Really, if we view the umpteen government f*ups in perspective as they are, relatively that is, shouldn't we be questioning the true reason for the M faction's campaign to depose of the PM?

It doesn't mean we will allow those responsible of any criminal acts in 1MDB or elsewhere to get away, even if he is the PM or indeed former PM.

But let's first wait for the investigations and audit to be completed, instead of being propelled by someone's personal agenda. In this respect, I have been very disappointed with Uncle Lim KS who has been running around like a decapitated chook, urging his former political nemesis, the very people he condemned resoundingly when they were in power, to take over the country.

How men? This is even worse than the deformasi 916. Just remember what our late Karpal Singh said of the attempted though failed 916 coup d'etat, that it was IMMORAL and UNETHICAL!

And again in April this year, his son Ramkarpal Singh Deo reminded us of that, of what democracy is about!

In a TMI news report titled Working with Dr M to remove PM will be a ‘disaster’, Pakatan told we read (extracts):

“The question of working with Dr Mahathir is an unimaginable disaster waiting to happen.

“There can be no doubt that Malaysia needs to be saved. While I agree that Najib ought to go, I cannot agree with the means by which Dr Mahathir proposes to do so,” Ramkarpal said in a statement here.

“Asserting pressure on a democratically elected prime minister to step down cannot be democratic and it is high time that Pakatan Rakyat come together at this very critical time against Umno and the Barisan Nasional (BN),” the DAP MP added.

Ramkarpal said that working with Dr Mahathir would mean that PR would just be maintaining the status quo and allow “corruption to continue”.

“I am firmly of the view that saving Malaysia can only mean a new clean, accountable and transparent government."

“Pakatan Rakyat must live up to its promise to Malaysians of being that alternative and democratically oust Najib and the BN through the ballot box,” Ramkarpal stressed.

Uncle Lim KS, please take note.

As my late mum always counselled me, don't get involved in another person's selfish fight for his own selfish interests. If we have to fight let's do it independently, with fairness and with clarity as to our purpose.

But the most troubling organization to throw itself into the M vs N war, wittingly or otherwise, seems to be, as mentioned earlier, Bersih, once a much hallowed name, at least to me.

Who or what is Bersih? Wikipedia tells us (just relevant extract):

The Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (Malay: Gabungan Pilihanraya Bersih dan Adil) or Bersih (meaning clean in Malay) is a coalition of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) which seeks to reform the current electoral system in Malaysia to ensure free, clean and fair elections. […]

In April 2010, the coalition was relaunched as an entirely civil society movement ("Bersih 2.0") unaffiliated to any political party.

Let's read its charter again, namely, ... which seeks to reform the current electoral system in Malaysia to ensure free, clean and fair elections.

So? Is it Bersih's charter to depose of an elected PM? Has Bersih gone songsang-ishly partisan from its original charter? Personally I suspected so when Bersih praised a former RMAF officer as a hero, and for what you may asked, but for violating Armed Forces Council Instructions.

Then I knew that unless someone wise up the new chairperson of Bersih the organization will soon lose its perspective.

More than ever, for Bersih to seek to reform the current electoral system in Malaysia to ensure free, clean and fair elections, it must not, nay, NEVER ever encourage the military to get silly ideas of going political - keep those soldiers back in the barracks. Don't believe me, ask Yingluck Shinawatra.

Okay, you may think all the above are just kaytee's prattle tattle, wakakaka, but let's take a look at an article posted in the renowned loyarburok website, where we would be able to read Why I Will Not Attend Bersih 4.

It's about Abdul Haleem, a Bersih-rally veteran, telling us of Bersih's double standards in not taking a strong stand against PKR's nonsensical misuse of the election process in the KajangGate by-election (I call it the rancid Kajang Satay event), yea, not even a slap on their wrists with a coriander stalk wakakaka, and also of allowing a certain party wakakaka to hijack its Bersih 3.0 rally which then saw civil disruption. The article said:

On both previous rallies — though it was organized by Bersih — on the actual day, it was hijacked by the political parties. On Bersih 3, all hell broke loose when clowns from PKR got hold of the mic and started the fiery speeches which were very provocative. The cops were no angels too. During Bersih 3, the moment this particular political figure started his provocative speech, me and my friends got up and left the scene for some chilled drinks. By the time we finished the first drink the whole area turned into a war zone. We don’t need to be reminded of police brutality during Bersih 3. I surely don’t want to see innocent young ones beaten up for taking part on a democratic process. I don’t think this time around is going to be different. The Home Minister is also the DPM since yesterday and the Kebab still going mad for all the wrong reasons.

It was the story of Tonto sending up naughty smoke signals, wakakaka.

On 02 May 2012 Dina Zaman wrote in The Malaysian Insider’s The Bersih that wasn’t as follows:

But now I see videos of protestors breaking down the barriers and committing acts of violence. And yes, while the police showed more restraint this time they were behind some of these as well. Al-Jazeera journalists reported via Skype that their equipment was smashed by policemen to prevent them recording some of these acts of violence.

Despite suffering from the teargas effects I myself have not the spirit to summon the moral indignation I would like to have, because although they should have done so lawfully I cannot blame the police for taking action against violent protestors.

What can we Malaysians expect post April 28 2012? With a video circulating showing that Anwar Ibrahim and Azmin Ali had ordered the Dataran breach, this does not bode well for Pakatan and the rakyat. This is a massive public relations disaster. The average Malaysian like me can only tear her hair out.

And now we are told that the duo were signalling to the police. What is this — Tonto and the Lone Ranger?

As I said on Twitter all this resembled a Hindustani film. Throw in a tree and a pair of sarees and we'll have a great sandiwara.

By the by, coincidental or not, I have been told that Anwar Ibrahim loves Hindustani films, wakakaka.

Meanwhile in the Malay Mail Online, Praba Ganesan wrote Bersih's cart before the horse in which he mentioned (extracts):

Where do I stand?

Why the animosity, some might ask. I don’t have any, I’ve been at all the Bersih rallies and been successfully gassed each time — though they do not match the sheer madness of the 2007 Hindraf rally.

So I have had skin in the game.

I want them to succeed because asking for fair and free elections resonates with a population long suspicious of intentions when it has the words politics, power or democracy.

They thrived on that for years.

However, a cursory look at their website presently will show that they are hardly bipartisan this time around.

They might want to clear the air about being more about process and less about fitting one group’s agenda.

They might want to avoid being like the politicians they work hard not to mimic. When Pakatan Rakyat — new, old or in transition, you tell me! — say two years after the last general election that 52 per cent of the country are with them, eyes roll. The majority of the country voted on May 5, 2013 for Pakatan because they were of the opinion on May 5, 2013 Pakatan deserved their vote.

There is no basis for Pakatan leaders perpetually asserting they speak for the people, because of one voting day. While a democratic vote is valuable it changes too, and no one owns the votes except the people. Politicians have to earn the vote over and over, day after day till the next election.

Politicians don’t own voters just because they got a lot of votes at any poll. Same applies to activists, they don’t own protesters just because they showed up the last three times. They have to ask, and they have to ask before deciding — or risk appearing not dissimilar to the neo-feudal overlords they confront. People are not pawns, I believe that is the gist of Bersih. Perhaps they should read their own propaganda.

So declaring in lieu of the seismic shifts in power without consulting the people who will form the frontline of any Bersih rally is hubris.

To call for a rally within 24 hours of events — some of them still unravelling

A bit premature, whichever manner it is examined.

Hmmm, it seems kaytee is not the only one who sees Bersih as no longer an entirely civil society movement unaffiliated to any political party, which wants to reform the current electoral system in Malaysia to ensure free, clean and fair elections.

Not only that, as Praba Ganesan said, Bersih seems to be in undue and arbitrary haste to get involved in a political battle for which its charter doesn't provide for.

Holy Grail of evidence against Najib?

Following Muhyiddin's ouster, someone (you-know-who, wakakaka) has started a new war of retribution.

The Malay Mail Online informs us:

A video recording was also leaked last night showing Muhyiddin claiming to guests at his Damansara Heights house on Tuesday that RM2.6 billion in 1MDB funds were channelled into the personal bank accounts of Najib.

Malay Mail Online was unable to immediately verify the authenticity of the leaked video, but former minister Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir, who was present during the meeting, confirmed the incident captured on camera was genuine.

And of course we know on whose side is Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir, wakakaka.

We've also hear of a video audio clip in which the NS MB was said to have call for the arrest of Najib, but that proved false as that poor bloke, Mohamad Hasan, the NS MB, has strenuously denied that claim. Wakakaka.

Then there's the story of Zeti Akhtar Aziz, the BNM governor having a heart attack which again has been refuted by BNM. Malaysiakini reported:

Talk has also circulated that Zeti, who is part of the special task force probing the allegations against 1MDB, has resigned from her position.

However, this was also proved to be false.

The likelihood of anyone suffering any heart attack would probably be the NS MB who could have felt sporadic palpitations in his chest on hearing he was implicated in an attack against Najib, wakakaka.

In fact I would know how he must felt because I too was once accused of verballing my boss. What saved me was at the time it (the fabricated badmouthing) occurred I was fortuitously away in a very remote near-inaccessible part of Malaysia, quite quite far away from the office where I was supposed to have verballed my director. The asshole tattler (nay, not just a tattler but a) liar-assassin didn't check my whereabout when he fabricated the lie, wakakaka. But when I heard the accusation I must admit I initially felt what Mohamad Hasan would have felt.

The Muhyiddin's video is now touted as a Holy Grail, indeed as 101% gold plated evidence, even though lawyers said that's only hearsay and worthless in court.

Malaysian political holy grail can come in any form, including sperm specimens

wakakaka

Mind, politically the lie would be very useful as Malaysians love such hearsay, rumours and most of all, surat layang whether this be the traditional type, written or oral, or the modern version (Facebook, emails, twitters, etc), wakakaka. Maybe that's the real intention, not that we weren't aware of Muhyiddin being an 'interested party' given his sacking by Najib.

Every which way it takes, yes the new anti-Najib campaign has been launched, where we are likely to see this underground war of retribution, attrition and infuriation continue ...

... at least until Najib has gathered the guts to launch another counter attack, which he must if he doesn't want to end up as toast.

Kua Chee please, wakakaka.

Someone went to Muhyiddin's house

If you're thinking I am referring to my dear friend Mukhriz you're wrong, wakakaka.

what do you mean did my dad okay the visit? wakakaka

Nor was I referring to Zufkifli Noordin, as I expected a bloke like him to be a matey of "I am Malay first, Malaysian second" Muhyiddin.

After all, why would I want to post about Mukhriz going to Muhyiddin's house after the latter was sacked from the cabinet when it's well known in Malaysian political circle that Muhyiddin has always been Dr Mahathir's man, and the man Mahathir had probably expected to mentor Mukhriz all the way eventually into the PM's position.

Notwithstanding the fact that Mahathir's wish has now suffered a setback, most of us would have expected Mukhriz to pay a solidarity visit to Muhyiddin's house, at least to strategize or re-strategize, wakakaka.

And who knows, that setback might only be temporary as Muhyiddin can still make a comeback if Ah Jib Gor screws up kau kau. As Anwar Ibrahim could have told him, ‘There’s many a slip ‘twixt cup and lip’, which Anwar found that out to his invincible distress in 1999.

Yes, I believe it has been this narrow miss by Anwar at the highest political office, just by a hair’s breath at the eleventh hour, on the cusp of his ascendancy to the highest political position in Malaysia, that has made the man super-geram, a frustrated anger beyond normal boundaries, even sending him into unbridled rage.

It has been a terrible experience that has tormented him since, more so he now sees his once-Youth Chiefs becoming respectively the PM and now also the DPM, while he languishes in prison.

So, if I were Ah Jib Gor, I would not be too complacent yet as I'm sure our dear eminence grise wakakaka would no doubt be cooking up something right now, as he once did against Anwar.

Okay then, the bloke I read going to Muhyiddin's house as the former DPM fumed at home at his sudden loss a la Anwar, was our next dearest matey, P Kamalanathan, yes, he of the hand-kissing fame, the one who had sucked up to Muhyiddin in 2010 during the pre-election campaign in the Hulu Langat by-election in 2010.

Look, when Dr Mahathir was on the ‘outer’ during PM AAB’s era, he commented that people who once kissed his hands were ignoring or even badmouthing him. That sort of confirmed that those hand-kissers (who subsequently ignored him) were insincere Bodek-ites.

In 2010 Kamalanathan, the MIC (or should it be UMNO) candidate for the Hulu Selangor by-election was photographed kissing DPM Muhyiddin’s hands. Kamal tried to deny it when asked, but alas for him, he was as mentioned photographed in that act.

as passionate as I was when I kissed my girlfriend's hands, but probably more dignified as I was too outrageously greedy with my sweetie's hands

wakakaka

Aiyah, if you wanted to kiss Muhyiddin's hands, why then denied that?

Anyway that was 5 years ago, so what can we make out of his very recent visit to Muhyiddin's house after poor Muhyiddin was sacked from the cabinet?

Did that mean Kamalanathan (call me 'Kamal' or 'Nathan', wakakaka) was sympathetic to the former DPM or felt his 'future' has been inevitably tied to Muhyiddin's fortune?

Wait, Kamalanathan has been deputy Education Minister to Muhyiddin so I wonder whether he went there to ask Muhyiddin, "Tan Sri, mohon serah semua kunci pejabat kepada saya sekarang." Wakakaka.

But 'Kamal' or 'Nathan', wakakaka, should at least be relieved Palanivel is now out of MIC, or at least out of power in MIC, as the latter hadn't taken kindly to him when he was appointed by UMNO over the MIC proposed candidate (Palanivel himself) for the Hulu Langat by-election.

Hmmm, I wonder whether he kissed Muhyiddin's hands when he last visited the former DPM? Wakakaka.

God has been busy in Malaysia

Najwa Mahiaddin, Muhyiddin's daughter, said his dad's fate is in God's hands.

hmmm, sweet god, she's not bad

Ahmad Zahid humbly said his appointment as DPM is God's will.

Anwar Ibrahim must have exclaimed OMG or alternatively WTF-that-punk? with a degree of jealousy when he heard his former (1999) budak Kaam-See-Tui* is now the DPM.

* suicide squad a la Kamikaze

You-Know-Who might have sighed a big sigh of (also) OMG, remembering the new DPM once claimed his admonition of young Zahid in 1999 was just a father-to-son advice, but wondering who to back now with Muhyiddin gone.

Pak Haji Hadi no doubt would be consulting God on what to do next.

I wonder whether Ah Jib Gor would have said "Thank God. I have finally found the backbone to do what I should have done long ago!"

Busy day for God.

PKR gone Islamic a la PAS in Sarawak?

From Sarawak via Malay Mail Online's In pre-election blitz, PKR grooming candidates to know Sarawakians better

old and new moons

... the future of PKR’s partnership with DAP in Sarawak now also looks to be in jeopardy.

DAP’s Sarawak chapter had previously said that it is withdrawing from talks with PKR over seat distribution for the state polls due to the latter party’s ambiguous stand on hudud.

also in the same report:

According to PKR’s elections co-director Nurul Izzah Anwar, her party will focus on 28 state seats in Sarawak for the polls.

[Hope none of the 28 are currently held by DAP, wakakaka]

PKR has also finalised its list of potential candidates, she confirmed, although the state’s opposition parties are still negotiating the seats. [...]

“For Sarawak, we want to champion the ideals of the party to prove that it’s a truly Malaysian party.

We have also been pushing a narrative to the Sarawak people, that Islam is against racism, that Islam supports a civil state.... and this idea has been well-accepted by our Sarawak leadership,” she said.

It appears that Nurul is promoting the idea of an Islamic State given her emphasis on the support of Islam for a civil state and that the religion is against racism, true or otherwise, depending on our personal experience and perception.

So, has PKR now become an Islamic party like PAS, which may explain why DAP Sarawak has refused to talk with PKR due to the latter's "ambiguous stand on hudud".

What do N Surendran, Sivarasa, Xavier Jayakumar, Tian Chua and my dearest Eli Wong have to say?

Muhyiddin crossed the Rubicon

Well well well! It seems good olde Muhyiddin Yassin, yes the very same quiet but low browed "I'm a Malay first and a Malaysian second" DPM, has finally made his move against Ah Jib Gor.

where the Rubicon river was/is

Did he do it to obey Mahathir? Who knows but my bet is yes, Muhyiddin must have finally accepted the push desperate shove by our eminence grise to depose Ah Jib Gor from the PM's position (and of course by default, from the UMNO party president appointment). Desperate needs require desperate moves, as desperate goes!

In his I told Najib to quit 1MDB but he didn't listen, it has been reported by TMI as follows:

He said 1MDB was something that could not be ignored and a solution had to be found.

"I am the first minister to make a stand on 1MDB even though the prime minister had made a decision on the matter. I said we should find a solution, not point fingers,” he said, he had been the most vocal in raising his concerns about the matter at the Umno supreme council and Cabinet meetings.

Muhyiddin said he had noted that the RM42 billion debt run up by 1MDB was a huge figure and had exceeded the budget allocations for some states in the country and was a burden to the country at a time when the ringgit was dropping.

"I have told the prime minister but I don’t dare say it in public as I fear it will be misconstrued and people will say that I was out to topple the prime minister. I don’t want a clash with the prime minister as our party is not strong,” he added.

Note in particular his "I have told the prime minister but I don’t dare say it in public as I fear it will be misconstrued and people will say that I was out to topple the prime minister".

Now that he HAS SAY it in PUBLIC, can we assume that he no longer fears being misconstrued and that he IS OUT to topple the PM?

This is getting interesting. I'm also now waiting for Pakatan 2.0 to bizarrely HAIL MUHYIDDIN as the new conquering hero, wakakaka, indeed as they had bizarrely hailed Mahathir, Musa Hitam and Ku Li as the needed troika to save Malaysia from the woes planted with poisonous seeds long ago by you-know-who, wakakaka.

Hail Caesar! We who are about to die salute you

To realize Muhyiddin has now gone for broke, irreversibly so, read also TMI's:

Stop attacking Dr Mahathir, it only weakens the party, Muhyiddin tells Umno

Umno will lose if general election held now, says Muhyiddin

If not The Edge, then which source can be trusted for 1MDB reports, asks Muhyiddin

Muhyiddin has finally crossed the Rubicon (or was shoved across by you-know-who, wakakaka) and thus it's either the end of him or Najib. There can now be no reconciliation between the two.

err ... Tun, the water seems a wee cold lah, bolih go-starn sikitkah?

Wakakaka, where's my kua-chee and rojak?

PKR - hopeless as ever

TMI - PKR sidesteps PAS call to make stand on GHB, says friends with all

caught between Scylla and Charybdis

but unlike Odysseus, gutless and evasive

PKR is renowned for its evasive, elusive, secretive side stepping, tap dancing, and manmanlai manoeuvres when it comes to its firm commitment to policies, ideologies, alliances and agreements, as it did to DAP in Selangor during the exco appointments after the GE-13 state elections. In my post Selangor saga shows PKR's ketuanan mentality? I wrote of how it played out DAP:

... Khalid Ibrahim did what would be considered
ungentlemanly before he left for abroad, in unilaterally announcing via just a cowardly tweet the revised composition of the Selangor exco, which saw the agreed four exco positions for DAP reduced to three.

Couldn’t he have phoned DAP to advise his reason for the amendments, but then, we have been familiar with the lamentable PKR habit, of making unilateral decisions or policies on Pakatan (not PKR) issues, with their allies only learning of them via the media.

Thus it left Tony Pua, DAP Selangor deputy chief, bewildered on what was obviously an overturning of a Pakatan agreement on the exco composition. And of course Khalid Ibrahim was conveniently not around to answer why there was been a change to DAP’s disadvantage.

But from HRH’s revelation via his private secretary that Khalid Ibrahim had submitted the exco nominations to the palace prior to his departure for overseas, it would suggest that his tweeted message had already reflected the list submitted to HRH, lending doubts as to whether there was even a second list with the 5:5 racial ratio.

Be that as it was, even if HRH required a 6:4 makeup in the state exco, that would have been easily fulfilled with the four PAS members and two from PKR, which would still allow DAP to staff the exco with four of its assemblypersons.

Be that as its manmanlai DNA has been and may be, I wonder how long it can continue to weave its deceptive way around PAS, GHB and DAP.

One thing it proves, nay, confirms is that it is still the weakest and sneakiest link in Pakatan 1.0 and 2.0, and shows it needs all the help it can, like a thirsty vampire, suck out of PAS and DAP, and even GHB.

How could Wan Azizah
with such blithe ignorance of the situation between PAS and DAP and PAS and GHB,  so casually bring herself to say, "We are all friends. We are open when it comes to our common struggle."

"We are friends as we have a common policy framework shared by everyone who is of the same mind, including the rakyat who care about the national crisis affecting the country."

"All who are of the same view, we welcome them to be with us in the struggle to find a solution to the economic and political problems we are facing."

Where has she been for the last several months to say "... we have a common policy framework ..."? Huh?!

What common struggle was she talking about when PAS has clearly shown it has already abandoned the political objective of defeating UMNO?

Who are the 'friends' she had in mind? Has she so easily forgotten how PAS had objected to her being MB for Selangor?

But it does show she's only the new coalition leader because she's the wife of Anwar Ibrahim. She's unworthy of that crucial leadership role. And in this regard, I find it increasingly difficult to blame PAS for objecting to her as the MB candidate to replace Khalid Ibrahim.

Azmin Ali has been no better, avoiding the unavoidable issue of choosing either PAS or GHB, and PAS or DAP! Look, the PAS and DAP boats have already sailed towards different directions and any persistent attempt to still retain a foot on each vessel will end up with him rendered asunder real kangkang.

I suppose I have to grudgingly admit it's at times like this I miss (though not much) the more confident leadership and personality of Anwar Ibrahim, wakakaka.

Political patronage

TMI - Stop patronage politics to stay relevant, Mukhriz advises Umno

Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir warned that Umno will cease to be relevant if it continued to perpetuate the politics of patronage, Malaysiakini reported the son of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as saying.

He said it was dangerous when party leaders could not differentiate between serving the public and indulging in patronage. "(It is not limited to) the top leadership, there is patronage even at the bottom. We must consider why we are involved in this party.

I wonder what you make of his advice. I wonder too if he would have become MB of Kedah if he was not the son of his dad?

Mind, though daddy was from Kedah, he was highly marginalized and deliberately ignored/boycotted by his erstwhile tok ampus (fellow Kedahans) during AAB’s premiership, thanks or no thanks to the famed ‘loyalty’ of UMNO members, wakakaka. But with AAB ousted, Mukhriz has since been spared the trails and tribulations his dad had to undergo during AAB's time.

A
nyway, as we know, Mukhriz is eyeing a future PM-ship whether of his own aspiration or because his dad wants him to. That's why Najib has been "criminally negligent" in someone's eyes for not "sponsoring" Mukhriz into one of the 3 very vital UMNO VP positions during the last party election, wakakaka, thus not fulfilling his hutang budi.

And indeed Mahathir said he "sponsored" Ah Jib Gor as an hutang budi to Razak for bringing him (Mahathir) back into top UMNO echelons, so he must have expected reciprocal arrangements from Najib.

I wonder why Ah Gib Gor didn't play the 'patronage' game that Mukhriz has now advised UMNO members not to play? Otherwise, what is 42 billion but mere sap sap suoi (chicken feed) to you-know-who? Wakakaka.

There have been persistent rumours that, after the "organized" fall (or overthrowing, wakakaka) of Najib from his PM position, dear sweet Mukhriz (and he's a really nice sweet boy, more like his mum than dad) will be nursed by wannabe-PM Muhyiddin and maybe even Hishamuddin until he is ready to assume the No 1 political position in Malaysia in accordance with UMNO’s Da Vinci code "revisited".

Yes, I know RPK has said there's no such thing as (what has been seen as the now fulfilled) R-A-H-M-A-N code-legend because with Malay names like (Tunku) Abdul Rahman, if we used his first name, then the so-called code would have started with 'A', but if we started with his second name of 'Rahman', that would have also meant Abdul Razak's turn should have been designated R, and Hussein Onn obviously 'O'.

That would have balls-ed up the legend of the UMNO Da Vinci code into R-R-O ... etc instead of R-A-H-M-A-N.

But I like to disagree with RPK precisely because Malay monikers are so conveniently flexible for legends such as this, if not anything at least to entertain and titillate us, wakakaka. Aiyah Pete, don't be such a spoilsport lah.

As Giordano Bruno, a 14th Century Italian philosopher-astronomer informed us, 'se non è vero, è molto ben trovato' which means 'if it is not true, it is very well invented', wakakaka.

Ooops, BTW the Catholic Church burnt Giordano Bruno at the stake as a heretic.

So, ignoring RPK's advice to disregard the R-A-H-M-A-N legend, after Najib retires either in due course or prematurely, wakakaka, we shall have as PM:

1 - R. Razaleigh (Ku Li), wakakaka, or Nazir Razak (Ah Jib Gor's teetee and why not).

Yes, f* Muhyiddin. After all, if Ali Rustam was not deliberately sidelined in a pre-2008 party elections on cause of money politics, he would have become the DPM in 2008 and would now be in a nicely poised position to fulfil a second round of the R-A-H-M-A-N code.

Mind you, we should be thankful to the One above for being spared the experience of having Ali Rustam as PM, wakakaka

2 - A. This ‘A’ is a bit of a buggeration. I am sure many in PKR believe it’s for Anwar wakakaka. But then, I shouldn't wakakaka because you can never tell. I wonder whether I should be nice to him just in case? Wakakaka.

Maybe we can make Ahmad Zahid Hamidi fill this 'A' slot. Or, perhaps even Ariff Sabri of DAP. I'm sure PKR would be very keen to stake out this round of 'A' as it also fits not just Anwar but also Azmin Ali gnam gnam. And of course there's Wan Azizah - isn't the flexible application of Malay names just wonderful?

3 - H. Hishamuddin? I suppose he just has to swallow bitter pill to be in 2nd position to Ahmad Zahid, wakakaka.

What about Husam Musa? Or, if he is still in politics by then, Pak Haji Hadi Awang, though I wouldn't give him much chance by then as age is not in his favour. Mind, we could jack him up earlier into the 'A' slot above. I just love this game of guessing, admittedly wild guessing, wakakaka.

4 - M. Okay we should have Mukhriz by then.

Recall, just prior to the 2008 GE, Mukhriz had wanted to represent Langkawi but was rejected by 85 out of 91 UMNO branches in Langkawi, even though Dr M was the man who did all he could for Langkawi and broke the 7-generation curse of Mahsuri for the Island. Mukhriz had to stand in very perilous Jerlun instead and some say PAS there helped him through (for strategic reasons) or he would have been toast.

But of course at that time, AAB and his 4th Floor Boys had their knives in Dr M, so per the renowned ‘loyalty’ of UMNO members, wakakaka, their loyalty went to ‘Siapa Raja’ and not to who did what for them wakakaka. As Dr M himself often lamented, Melayu mudah lupa.

Given UMNO's much touted 'loyalty' wakakaka, I wonder whether he'll survive the tussle of UMNO party-politics from blokes like Ku Li, Nazir Razak, Ahmad Zahid and Hisham, not forgetting KJ, wakakaka.

Mind, there's Mat Sabu waiting in the 'M' slot, wakakaka. And indeed also Husam Musa if he misses the 'H' slot.

Chinese aspirants can wait for the 'C' slot while Indians the 'I' turn which alas for the Aneh may also be contested by Nurul Izzah, wakakaka,

Who's peddling bunkum?

Malay Mail Online - PetroSaudi info, Sarawak Report editor calls it ‘bunkum’

KUALA LUMPUR, July 24 ― Jailed Swiss national Xavier Andre Justo has claimed to have been offered US$2.7 million (RM7.62 million) for stolen confidential information from his former employer PetroSaudi International (PSI) by a “prominent” Malaysian businessman in a deal brokered by Sarawak Report founder Clare Rewcastle Brown, but which he never received ― allegations which the Briton has panned as “bunkum”.

In an exclusive interview with Singapore daily Straits Times (ST) published today, Justo who has confessed to blackmail and extortion against PSI, was reported saying the deal was made in Singapore in February.

However, he claimed that he was never received the money promised by the Malaysian businessman whom ST said it was not naming pending a response from him.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 24 ― Media tycoon Datuk Tong Kooi Ong and Ho Kay Tat, the editor of The Edge Media Group, publicly confessed today to cheating Xavier Andre Justo over a promised US$2 million (RM7.6 million) payment in return for documents the Swiss man stole from his former employer PetroSaudi International (PSI). [...]

Both Tong and Ho believe they are innocent of any crime, even as they admitted to cheating Justo of payment.

“We have done nothing wrong and we are here to assist investigators unlike some who seem to have disappeared.

Well, what does that say about Clare Rewcastle?

It's besides the point what Tong Kooi Ong and Ho Kay Tat might have in mind when they lied to Justo about the payment, but it does tell us that Rewcastle was a wee too hasty in dismissing Justo's accusation which has now been confirmed as truthful by the very people who have confessed to cheating him (Justo).

A
gain I ask, what does that say about Clare Rewcastle?

And I have to admit I'm shocked by Tong Kooi Ong and Ho Kay Tat admitting they went to the extent of cheating Justo, and to obtain stolen data in such a sinister manner. In the revelation of their own confessions, what does that say about them?
