I...Hi KT,
We all know that Anwar was/is not a saint. It is debatatable how much of a devil he is.

The reality is that we live in a Parliamentary system (I hesitate to use the term "democracy"). The only real bottom line pressure which can be brought to bear on the Government to change its game is the threat of the loss of Parliamentary or State seats.
Everything else (including what you and I write in blogs) is idle armchair commentary.

In that context, my view is Anwar Ibrahim is the only real game in town. Kit Siang is a tired old warhorse, and very few Malays will vote for the DAP. Anwar has cross-racial appeal. Even though PKR lost this contest, Anwar has (again) shown he is a formidable politician. You should watch the videos of him in action in Ijok. There is a simple reason for all the mega millions of money and firepower (every principal Cabinet minister, Dollah etc) Barisan poured into Ijok. The thought of going head-to-head vs. Anwar Ibrahim can still cause sleepless nights with BNMonsterballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05482725674818312298noreply@blogger.com
