SEREMBAN, Oct 1 — Negeri Sembilan DAP today lodged a police report over a social media post allegedly linking the party to the state’s ongoing crisis and royal institution.

State DAP chairman J. Arul Kumar said a post by a Facebook account under the name Khalide Al Walid had, among other things, alleged links between the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan and DAP, as well as connecting the party to issues involving customary land.

He said the allegations were serious as they involved the royal institution, which should remain above party politics.

“As a political party, we are accustomed to criticism and pressure, but when the royal institution is linked to any political party, it crosses the line,” he told reporters after lodging the report at the Seremban district police headquarters here today.

Arul said DAP would leave it to the police to investigate, including identifying the owner and background of the account and determining any action under the law.

He said the post also allegedly linked DAP to several other issues, including customary land, elected representatives attending religious briefings and the renaming of roads.

Arul, who is the Nilai assemblyman, said the transfer of ownership of customary land had never been discussed during his eight years as a state executive councillor.

He also clarified that DAP elected representatives who attended briefings at the religious office did so in their capacity as elected representatives to obtain information for their constituents, particularly Muslim voters.

On the renaming of roads, Arul said such matters were decided by the State Executive Council and should not be attributed to any political party.

He said DAP did not want the issues politicised or linked to the party, adding that the ongoing crisis in Negeri Sembilan needed to be resolved promptly to ensure the state administration could function effectively. — Bernama

  1. Yew Kay Is Broke(n).

Triple Lock Pension.....guaranteed minimum 2.5% per year.

The full new State Pension is £241.30 a week, or about £12,548 a year.

Each illegal arriving in a small boat costs an average of £40,000 per year.

So we are spending over 3 times as much on an economic migrant than on a person that has lived here and contributed to the country their whole life.

  3. The desperation of western media to conceal radical Islam is insane

CNN on the FlyDubai incident: This was a violent incident between pilots. It was definitely not a hijacking.

    Thanks CNN.

  4. The brave Yindian pilot hit the Hijack squawk.

They’re too stupid to understand the aircraft transponder codes squawked indicated an emergency and then switched to a hijacking. My Lord they are evil and dumb.

So it is Hijack, not an altercation.

  8. Mehdi Hassan Still Won’t Shut Up…..

The hijacker is the only person on that plane who didn't get a hero's welcome in Israel.

A Muslim man excluded from the general celebrations of an apartheid society.

    Sit with that.
